This morning, I woke up thinking about adding a little Texas bling to my Airstream. My friend Linda and her husband Russ own Texas Trading Post, so I knew I could count on her for a few goodies. But I had no idea just how many fun things she’d have to share. (As it turns out, their Texas Trading Post is now the largest online store for gifts and decor. Go figure!)
I’m mostly interested in kitchen decorations, and I found a super-cute Texas-shaped jalapeno griller that’s both decorative and functional. And, I like the little accent pieces, like bluebonnet dish towels, napkin holders, place mats, and salt and pepper shakers. I’m thinking a few well-placed pieces can give the RV a whole new look.
I also found a couple of things that can make my life easier on the road. My hubby loves pecan pie, and Linda and Russ have a “pecan pie in a jar,” which can make it really easy to bake a fresh pie for dessert. They’ve also got an awesome, Texas-made “grub rub,” that will give you the perfect blend of spice for your next RV cookout.
And then, there were Texas flags to hang from the RV awning, a hitch cover, and cute collars and accessories for my road trippin’ doggies… I could go on and on!
But instead, I think I’ll get back to shopping. Let me know if you visit their site and find any “must have” items!
